Research Library Cooperative Program
On-site access and borrowing
RLCP eligible researchers are afforded on-site access and borrowing privileges at the libraries of Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and UT Austin. Upon arrival to the lending library, researchers must visit Privileges with proof of their RLCP program eligibility and current academic status.
- Stanford researchers visiting the University of California at Berkeley libraries must have their Stanford University identification.
- Stanford and UC Berkeley patrons visiting UT Austin must create an EID one week before visiting UT Austin libraries.
- UT Austin researchers will recieve a borrowing card when eligibility and academic status have been confirmed upon arrival at Stanford or UC Berkeley. UC Berkeley Privileges is closed on weekends; contact them during the work week for information regarding weekend access.
Visiting Stanford Libraries:
RLCP researchers should review the Stanford Libraries visitor information regarding accessing the collections, wireless access, and licensed electronic databases.
The Business, Crown Law, Lane Medical, and SLAC libraries are Stanford Coordinate Libraries and are not included in the RLCP resource-sharing agreement. Review their separate websites for access and borrowing policies.
Stanford University's Visitor Information site offers searchable maps and other helpful resources for planning your visit and exploring the university.
