Some libraries have their own policies regarding entrance and usage:

Government Documents

The Federal Depository Library Program grants free access to federal documents to the public. Stanford's Government Documents collection is located in Green Library. If you are not a Stanford affiliate,  you must register for a visitor badge upon entering the Green Library. Please bring a government-issued ID.

Special Collections

Special Collections & University Archives materials are stored offsite and brought to the reading room in Green Library. You can request these materials.  If you are not a Stanford affiliate, you must register for a visitor badge upon entering the Green Library. Please bring a government-issued ID.
